▋ Mobile Phone Fast Charging

QC3.0:

We use an algorithm called Intelligent Negotiation for Optimal Voltage (INOV), which supports dynamic adjustment of working voltage from 3.6V to 20V in steps of 200mV. Compatible platforms include Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, 620, 618, 617 and 430, and Backward compatibility QC2.0 and QC1.0 devices, which can be used on USB Type-A interface, USB micro interface and USB Type-C interface.

Fast charging principle:

By replacing the traditional 5V/1, 2A charger mode with low voltage and high current, the effect of high current accelerated charging is achieved. And adjust the input voltage within a controllable range of voltage to achieve the effect of increasing charging power, thus forming fast charging.

▋ High end mobile power supply

Principle:

On the basis of ordinary mobile power supplies, the fast charging function is added. Currently, the Qualcomm QC2.0 and QC3.0 standards are the main ones. The 2.0 output voltage is divided into three levels: 5V, 9V, and 12V, with a maximum current of 1A and a maximum power of 18W. For 3.0, QC3.0 is used as the first gear in 200mV increments. The output voltage is 5-12V. The circuit power is higher than that of ordinary mobile power sources, with a peak current of around 16A when boosting. The working frequency is around 700K-1M, with high requirements for MOS Qg, Ciss, and Coss. Low thermal resistance requirements. The boost section will use two high-power MOSs, one main switch and one synchronous rectifier.
